I am SO HAPPY to create this website about my experience with Bartow Ford.

Below is my experience, an incredibly positive experience, of buying a car from Bartow Ford. After having experienced the WORST dealing with a dealership, Bill Currie Ford, one would think I would avoid Ford dealerships at all cost.  Well, as it turns out, Bartow Ford has kept me a loyal Ford customer now for more than 25 years! Ford should make Bartow Ford their STANDARD by which all of the other dealerships should operate.  

Here are the details of my story...

On Wednesday, September 27th, 2017, I contacted the Bartow Ford Dealership in Florida to purchase a new, 2017 Ford Expedition. I spoke to their sales rep, Stuart, and gave him the vin# of the vehicle I wanted (I had already researched it online). He quickly located the vehicle and we negotiated a price. I wanted to finance the vehicle, so he had me fill out an application online from their website.  I had told him I had a prior bankruptcy, but had paperwork showing that I had withdrawn from it and the discharge was vacated.  He assured me with the paperwork I provided, all would go well.  He was right!

TWO DAYS LATER, I WENT TO THE DEALERSHIP TO GET MY NEW VEHICLE...

I took an Uber ride to the dealership (because I had no trade-in), and Bartow Ford was an hour and a half from my home. From the moment I walked in the dealership, I felt like I had truly made the right decision.  The warm, friendly greeting from the gals up front made it feel more like visiting a distant relative rather than a car dealership. Then Stuart came out, greeted me with a firm handshake and sincere smile, and then led me back to his desk.  Being the last day of the month, they were PACKED with buyers looking to capitalize on last minute promotions. Stuart explained that I would have to wait a bit (I did arrive 45 minutes later than our scheduled appointment), and they would quickly squeeze me in to process the paperwork and get me on my way. While we waited, Stuart couldn't have been more hospitable.  Offering me drinks and snacks, as well as regailing me with funny stories regarding his experiences as a salesperson for OVER 20 years! Since it was getting close to my time to sign the paperwork, we went and took a thorough look at the vehicle, inspecting it inside and out. I was really pleased with every aspect of it.

Shortly after, Stuart led me to Shannon's office (the F&I manager), and she quickly, yet thoroughly, explained and went over each detail of my purchase and financing.  I cannot remember a time where so much information was reviewed in such a manner that was easily understandable and made sense - especially when buying a car!  Twenty minutes or so later, I had the completed paperwork in my hand as well as the keys to my NEW 2017 FORD EXPEDITION EL! But, before I left, Stuart wanted to make sure I met a very nice young lady named Wilmarie.  She was my accessory sales person and the one responsible for getting my dvd system installed in less than 24 hrs!  And she was the one to get my vehicle the armor-coat I had requested. Talk about a cheerful, pleasant young lady.  Further testament to Bartow Ford's hiring of people that make you feel like family! 

 After shaking hands with Wilmarie and Stuart, I jumped in my new vehicle and had the most enjoyable ride home!

Bartow Ford vs. Bill Currie Ford:

THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN NIGHT AND DAY!

My awesome experience with Bartow Ford is even more incredible because of a HORRIBLE experience in trying to purchase a vehicle from Bill Currie Ford of Tampa, back in April of this year.  The differences between these two buying experiences and the differences between the dealerships themselves, couldn't be more contrasted than the difference between night and day.  I will forever sing the praises of Bartow Ford, whereas I will forever be left with the foul, bitter taste of my experience with Bill Currie Ford.  If you want to know of my experiences there, click here: www.BillCurrieFordSucks.com.
